I recently had the priviledge of attending the play Stuart Little performed by children and adult actors at Theatre Arlington in Arlington, TX!
Let me start by saying that the play was awesome and the performers did a great job! While most of the audience was familiar with the story of Stuart Little, the play detoured a bit from the original story adding a bit of comedy and even some romance in a kid-friendly kind of way. The performers were exciteable and intriguing without being overdone.
My children ages 6 and 2 like most 21st century technology babies are generally awed by all things bright, interactive, and noisy found Stuart Little to be "fun" in the words of my oldest child. They both sat quietly throughout the play( and the intermission) waiting to see what would happen next to the precocious little mouse. My daughter even asked that I promise to bring her to see another play sometime soon.
All in all Stuart Little receives rave reviews in my book, 4 stars and that is on a scale of 1-3! I would highly recommend it for parents and kids ages 2 and up, there is something in this play for everyone!
