Theatre Arlington holds auditions for each of its productions. Information regarding each show is posted as soon as we have it. A list of upcoming auditions may be found below.

FAQ
Do I need to be an experienced performer to audition?
No. Anyone with the desire to perform is welcome. No experience is necessary.
Do I need to bring anything to auditions?
Bring a head shot and resume, if you have one. If you do not have a professional head shot, bring a recent snap shot of yourself. If you do not have a resume, do not worry. You will fill out an information form when you arrive.
Do I need an appointment to audition?
No. It is recommended that you arrive 10 – 15 minutes early, but an appointment is not necessary.
What do I need to prepare for an audition?
You may find information on what to prepare for each audition on the individual show audition pages. It is strongly recommended that you read the script prior to auditioning. A perusal copy of each script is available in our administrative and education building located at 316 W. Main Street. The script may not leave the office. You must peruse it in house, during regular office hours. Regular office hours are Monday – Friday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Important Information
Rehearsal dates
Rehearsals usually begin five weeks prior to the show opening and are Sunday through Thursday evenings. Some Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays will be added closer to opening date.
Audition location
Auditions will be located at Theatre Arlington at 305 W. Main St.
From 360: Exit Division. Go west. Turn left on West St. past Collins before Cooper. Turn left on Main St.
From I-30: Exit Cooper. Go south. Turn left on Main St. just past Division and the railroad tracks.
From I-20: Exit Cooper. Go north past the Parks Mall and through the UTA campus. Turn right on Main St.
