Ratings Page

We know not every show is for every person. We also know it can be difficult to know exactly what “adult language” or “adult situations” can mean, as each person has a different tolerance level. This is why we have instituted a new ratings system for our productions. (We are not allowed to use G, PG, PG-13 or R, as they are copyrighted by the Motion Picture Association of America.)

Many people have asked why we don’t just remove language from our script as other theaters do. The answer is plain and simple: it is against the law. We sign a royalty agreement with the publisher which states we will not alter the script. We choose to honor that agreement rather than break the law.

On our Web site, you may click on a particular show and, if the show has any language and/or innuendo, you may click to our ratings page. This page goes into more detail about the show and also lets you know exactly what type of language is in the show. This allows you, the patron, to make an informed decision about what shows you would like to see.
