About the Show:

Book by Terrence McNally. Music and lyrics by David Yazbek

In this Tony-Award winning musical, six unemployed steelworkers must find a way to earn some quick cash. Remembering their wives' affinity for Chippendale dancers, and having nothing else to lose, they decide to lose their clothes. In the process, they find renewed self-esteem and the value of friendship.

What You Need To Know:

Prepare one upbeat song and one ballad. Bring sheet music in the correct key. Be prepared to move. There will also be cold-readings from the script. 

It is important to be familiar with the script prior to auditioning. A perusal copy is available at the Theatre Arlington administrative offices Mon. - Fri. 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. The script may not leave the building. Please plan to read it in the offices.

Rehearsal Dates:

Rehearsals begin August 15 and are usually Sunday through Thursday evenings. Some Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays will be added closer to opening date.

From I-20: Exit Cooper. Go north past the Parks Mall and through the UTA campus. Turn right on Main St.
