In creating Outreach programs for underserved populations, Theatre Arlington hopes to narrow the gap between what is necessary in arts education programs and what is available to all youth in this area.

Show in a Box - TA Touring
TA Tours takes the show on the road, bringing 2 rotating works of classic and contemporary literature to your group! Shows change every 6 months, with 4 super stories available for booking each year. Add an in-class workshop for a special group, or a grade level, following the show for an additional fee. (More info...)
SRO-Youth Touring Company
Theatre Arlington’s youth touring company, SRO (Standing Room Only), are the youth ambassadors to the community, serving as an introduction to, and example of all we do in the Education Department and Youth Productions here at the theatre. (More info...)
ACTUPS (Applied Creative Thinking Using Performance Skills)
Developed 20 years ago as a partnership with the Arlington Independent School District to target culturally diverse, at-risk students. The ACT UPS program now reaches more than1,500 at-risk 4th grade children each year at Crow, Webb, Speer and Veda Knox Elementary Schools. Camp Be a Star
Camp Be A Star is a week-long theater camp for homeless and transitional housing children in Arlington. Through a partnership with the Arlington Independent School District, this unique camp teaches theatrical and communication skills and helps improve self-esteem and confidence. TAG Players (Theatre Arlington Guild Players)
A group of energetic, outgoing and creative individuals, over 50 years of age, provide reader’s theater entertainment to nursing homes, social meetings and other events. (More info...)
Ticket Giveaways-Charitable Donations
Each season, scores of tickets are donated to other non-profits for their raffles, silent auctions, and other fundraising efforts. Tickets to family are provided to the underserved in our community. We have donated to the Boys & Girls Club, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Arlington ISD, Woman’s Shelter, Mission Arlington, AIDS Service of North Texas, and the Arlington Public Library and more.
